Ihor Buhakov, Director of DE-FACTO CORP, was invited to attend the premiere of the documentary film “Battle for Kyiv” as a direct participant in the events depicted in the film.
The documentary was directed by French journalist and documentary filmmaker Olivier Truc and produced with the support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The film covers the first 37 days of the full-scale invasion and portrays the heroic defense of Kyiv by Ukrainian forces.
The film features exclusive footage and interviews with participants of the hostilities, including events in Hostomel and Irpin, which became key episodes in the defense of the capital.
The premiere became an important event in preserving historical memory and conveying the truth about the war in Ukraine to the international audience. We consistently support initiatives that contribute to documenting real events and honoring the courage of Ukrainian defenders.
