On March 21-22, 2026, the Ukrainian Hand-to-Hand Combat Championship was held in Kyiv, dedicated to the memory of Hero of Ukraine, Major General Maksym Shapoval.
Ihor Buhakov, Director of DE-FACTO CORP and a combat veteran, was invited by the Ukrainian Hand-to-Hand Combat Federation to take part in the event.
Previously, in August, DE-FACTO CORP had already supported the competition by providing prizes for the winners, which became part of ongoing cooperation with the Federation.
The event, dedicated to the memory of Maksym Shapoval, brought together the sports community, veterans, and representatives of the security sector, highlighting the importance of sport as a component of physical training and rehabilitation.
DE-FACTO CORP consistently supports initiatives aimed at the development of sports, including veteran sports, as well as the veteran community in Ukraine.
